【Properties】
White powder, efflorescent in air, easily soluble in water, but insoluble in alcohol; its water solution is slightly alkaline, relative density at 1.52, melting point at 35.1℃。
【Application 】
In industry, used as a fire-prevention agent for fabrics, timber and paper, dye auxiliaries, etc. In the food industry, used in the manufacture of baking powder, quality improver, nutrient fortification agent, fermentation agent, binder, etc.
